She was careful as she scooted up behind Gibbs, and hesitated only a moment before wrapping her arm around his waist and hugging herself close. She inhaled deeply, taking comfort in the scent of his skin before pressing her lips to the bare skin of his shoulder. “Night Gibbs,” she whispered. “I love you.” )

The more I watch NCIS, the more I can't believe people think that the Abby Gibbs dynamic is father daughter! I am not entirely sure how I would describe it, but it is absolutely not familial at all.

Take the scene I just watched in 3.3. For those who don't remember, this is the one with the serial killer that Gibbs caught a decade or so ago. The killer is going to be executed, and in a last ditch effort to get a stay he tries to get Gibbs to play one more psychological game.

Anyway, in this scene, Abby is trying to get a distracted McGee's attention and starts talking about how she is pregnant with Gibbs twins, and how she knows its wrong, but his silver hair just gets to her. Tony walks in while she is talking and looks a bit sick. She tells him she is joking...but not about the silver hair. Yea, who talks about their father like that?

Does anyone have any other scenes that stand out to them as showing that this is definitely NOT a father/daughter relationship?
